Two years training in Aikido Yoshinkai under Takashi Kimeda at the Aikido Yoshinkai Canada in Toronto. Introduced to Jeet Kune Do concepts at the ICS Academy under Dale Johns.

In 1997 trained in Grappling at Shoot Wrestling Canada.
Trained at Kabayama Bushidokan under Makoto Kabayama for 3 months before moving to Mississauga.

Trained in Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Sifu Joey De Los Reyes and Claude Patrick.

Under the guidance and desire of Sifu Joey De Los Reyes Hector has become an instructor of the Mini Dragons program and is involved in the ongoing program development, while still being a student of the arts.
